Level Control in Two Water Tanks in Series
There are four process units: a water source that empties into the upper tank, an upper tank,
a lower tank with a variable-flow outlet control valve, and a feedback controller. The controller
controls the water level in the lower tank by sending a command to the control valve.
The control valve is normally open and increasing command closes the valve.
The controller has Proportional and Integral (PI) action with anti-windup.
The diameter of each tank is 2 m.
